Week 1- Me, You and Maybe the Dog

The first task we were all assigned was to take pictures of our faces and merge them with fellow students. Merging two photos together can be achieved in a multitude of ways. However, the teacher told us an effective way so that is the method I used.

I learned a few new tools using this process, such as layer masks. Layer masks were a good way to fine tune the two faces without altering the original images too much. Whilst getting the two shades of faces right, I also learned how to use a histogram to adjust the different balances of black, grey and white.
